Front of House Team Member (part-time)

We have a part-time position for a FOH team member available immediately! Starting wage is $16/hour. This is a weekend-only position (Friday - Sunday).
As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Your role will involve interacting with customers, taking orders, and assisting with food preparation while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and are passionate about delivering quality service.
Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently

Ensure all to-go / delivery orders are packed accurately

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards

Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters

Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed

Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems

Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery

Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
Skills
-
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Experience in food service or the food industry is preferred

Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality

Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management

Culinary skills or experience in food preparation is a plus

Ability to engage customers effectively through upselling techniques

Expected hours:

Schedule:

Fri & Sat: 11 am - 7:30 pm (with a half hour break)

Sun: 11 am - 3 pm (with a possible 4 hour extension, if needed by the manager)
